Akon burn on October 14, 1981, in St. Louis, Missouri, The United States, is a singer - composer of rap and R*B and hip-hop of origin senegales that to the age of 7 years moved to New Jersey. His real name is Aliaune Thiam and his father, Mor Thiam, was a persecutioner of jazz and of he inherit the love towards the music.Thanks to his song "Smack that" was nominated for the Grammy.

Akon recorded his debut album, Trouble, in 2004, which included hits like "Locked Up," "Lonely," "Ghetto" or "Bananza (Belly Dancer)." Moreover, owns his own record label, Konvict Music.
